Create Team collaboration

Team collaboration offers a user friendly interface using which you can create projects in a matter of minutes. The Portal Owner, Administrator and Manager has the privilege of creating Team collaboration and assigning user roles.

Create Team collaboration

Get started with Team collaborations and collaborate with your team. Click Team collaborations and then click Team collaboration on the right side to create a New Team collaboration

In New Team collaboration, specify the other project details and get started. And the new project is grouped in Recent Projects.

Team collaboration templates

You can create a new Team collaboration or choose an existing Team collaboration template. In Choose a Template, you can select any of the existing templates based on which you can publish your real time project details. All the Milestones, task lists, tasks and other information from the chosen Team collaboration template will be shifted to the newly created project. And the start time of the project activities (milestones, task list and tasks) will be shifted based on the Team collaboration Start Date of the new project.

Team collaboration groups

You can create groups, to classify the various Team collaborations.

If required, in Group Name, click the Plus icon to create a new Team collaboration group. You can create a new group, only if you are the Admin.

Creating public and private Team collaborations

You can choose to make your project go public or private. Private Team collaborations, can be accessed only by the selected project users, whereas public projects can be viewed and followed by all the portal users. In public Team collaborations, users will have only read access but they can view and follow Team collaborations, and add comments. However, if you are the Admin, you will have all the access privileges even for public Team collaborations.

While creating projects, in Team collaboration access, choose Private, if you want the project to be accessed only by the project users in the selected project. If you choose Public, the project will be followed and viewed by all the portal users. The public projects are highlighted with a distinct icon in the Team collaborations list page.


Edit, Delete and Archive Team collaborations

We've furnished options for you to edit, delete, sort, archive and unarchive projects as per your needs. The Portal Owner and Administrator has the privilege to edit, delete and archive a Team collaboration in a portal. The Managers can only edit and archive a Team collaboration.

Edit / archive or delete a Team collaboration

Click Team collaborations and hover the mouse over the required project and then click the action menu to edit or delete a Team collaboration.

You can edit your project name, overview or the Team collaboration owner.

Delete a Team collaboration

When you delete a Team collaboration, the Team collaboration is deleted forever along with the associated data. A Team collaboration once deleted cannot be retrieved.

Archive a Team collaboration

Edit a Team collaboration and change it's Team collaboration Status to Archive, to archive an active project. The Team collaboration is moved under Archived Projects. You can archive or unarchive Team collaborations based on your convenience.

Sort archived Team collaboration:

Click Team collaborations and then choose Archived Team collaborations. In the archived project list, click Sort Alphabetically on the right side to alphabetically sort the Team collaborations. The alphabetically sorted Team collaborations order is a temporary view, and you cannot save.

If required, click Back to default view to toggle to the normal view.
