Why do I get an error message when I try to create a report?

Why do I get an error message when I try to create a report?

While creating a report you may get the following error message "Insufficient Privileges to perform this operation. Contact your Administrator." One of the following is the reason why you get this error message:

  • Your administrator had not provided you the access to the module for which you want to create reports.
  • The module (tab) for which you want to create report is hidden.
    i.e. If you want to create reports on leads, make sure that the Leads module is enabled.
